Facts and Opinions From a US Citizen

Hamas… Thanks

It’s been 3 weeks since 10/7. It has been deeply emotional for all of us. First, I want to say something about Hamas that no one is saying: Thank you. Thank you for clearing up the difference between good and evil. Thank you for exposing the fact that Iran is ground zero for global terrorism….no more denials, no more doubts. Also, thank you for exposing the extent, depth, and breadth of global anti-Semitism. We, as Jews, over the last 2000 years, periodically develop a false sense of security. But Hamas has awakened the Judaism in Jews. Liberal, progressive Jews who have voted for anti-Israel representatives will now have to choose. Do I support those who chant “From the river to the sea” (code for killing Jews)? Or, those who wear the Israeli flag and sing Oseh Shalom (make peace) and Hatikvah (hope…the Israeli national anthem)? Let this serve as a reminder. In addition to “never again,” it’s “never forget”.

In addition, for me, if I decided to be cynical, it has been an incredible learning experience. I learned:

Only Israel has to follow international rules of war Iran is complicit in the invasion with funding, training, supplying weapons and intel but not at fault because there is no “direct evidence.”

You don’t need a permit to protest or the truth to form an opinion.

Al Qaida and the Taliban don’t deserve humanitarian aid but Hamas does.

Jack Lew, a supporter of Iran, is a suitable US Ambassador to Israel.

Islamophobia is a greater concern than anti-Semitism (Karine Jean Pierre).

There is no anti-Semitism at the UN, Congress, or on college campuses. Their only concern is human rights.

It’s OK to kill Jews if it’s in your Charter.

People can receive electricity, water, jobs, medical care in Israeli hospitals, be
offered self governance, and warnings to evacuate before retaliation and call
themselves “oppressed”.

People can voluntary live in a country where they can worship, educate, work,
raise a family as they please, be part of the govt, and call it “apartheid”.

Repeated threats and warnings without definitive action can protect US soldiers
and interests.

NYT and most mainstream media outlets are always accurate and can be trusted.

US repeatedly reminds Israel on the importance of mitigating civilian
casualties…….like we did at Dresden, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki.

You can have land stolen from you that you never owned.

If the Palestinians had their own state, there would be peace because they pose
no threat to Israel.

International and biblical recognition, a UN Resolution, defined borders,
governing as the only democracy in the Middle East, defending it against
overwhelming odds, developing and cultivating a country is not as important as
claiming it was stolen.

A foreign minister (from Iran) can threaten the US on American soil without
consequence.

The inhuman slaughter of innocent civilians is defined as “resistance”.

Terrorism can be eliminated with 1 word…….Don’t!

Finally, and perhaps the most tragic, there is no “never again” because dead Jews
aren’t news.

PS: There will be a quiz. The world is being tested.

“I will bless those who bless you, and he who dishonors you I will curse…”

Referring to the Jewish people……Genesis 12:3
